During my recent transit in Berlin, I had the opportunity to stay at Pension Freiraum Guesthouse. The first thing that stood out to me was the hotel's strategic location. The property is conveniently situated only 8 km away from Tegel Airport, making it an ideal choice for travelers with early or late flights. the hotel's proximity to S Schonhauser Allee and Eberswalder Strasse provided easy access to public transportation, allowing me to explore the city with ease.

Although my overall experience at Pension Freiraum Guesthouse was pleasant, there were a few minor inconveniences. Checking in and checking out proved to be a bit complicated as it had to be done one block away from the hotel.

We loved the comfortable beds and the beautifully clean room with tea-making facilities. The location of the hotel was very convenient, being close to public transportation and being surrounded by good cafes and restaurants. The hotel facilities were great, with a good hot shower and quiet, peaceful surroundings. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, even giving us early check-in.

Great Christmas stay, perfect location close to public transport and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable with skylights and a coffee machine in the hallway. The shared kitchen was very spacious and well-equipped.

The room became quite hot during the day and the skylights didn't have mosquito nets, so we couldn't leave them open at night. Additionally, check-in and check-out were a bit complicated as they had to be done at a different location, and we had some issues with our credit card payment.

Mind-blowingly close to where we wanted to be, this super-cool non-hotel felt like a chic, centrally-located flat with ensuite. The jaw-droppingly clean and comfy room had a bonus tea making facility in the hall. The friendly lady who checked us in made us feel right at home. The location was buzzing, yet the room was quiet and peaceful. The room had good storage and an airy feel, plus a heavenly hot shower. The corridor had a stylish kitchen with classy reading seats and a little library nook. We even had a coffee grinder/coffee machine by our room. I would definitely go back, which says a lot coming from me.
